Marcus has been involved in the London music scene since 1992 running a studio after qualifying as a sound engineer. He has previously performed his own songs live at many venues in an acoustic duo before turning his hand to D.J.-ing in 1999.
His speciality is playing Indie and any good guitar based music but also enjoys playing commercial R&B, funky house, oldies and cheesy pop. He has had several club residencies, and currently plays weekly at the Tattershall Castle nightclub, SW1.
He has played at over 200 functions including more than 100 weddings and is always happy to take requests and play the music the customers want to hear. He can turn out in smart, casual wear or in black tie and suit as the occasion requires.
During recent years he has played at venues such as The Royal Opera House, Claridges, London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, Waldorf Hotel Aldwych, The Science Museum and Grafton Manor in Bromsgrove. He is happy to travel to venues up to 100 miles outside London.
Marcus has worked with many live singers and bands and can act as a sound engineer when customers have booked such acts for their functions.
Funky Fridays in Harlow, Essex, pictured on this page is another of DJ Marcus Adrian's current projects. A popular over 30's night where Marcus DJs with guest bands such as Bootleg Blondie and other DJs to provide good fun entertainment to all those in attendance.
