HARPIST

Angela is one of the UK's most in-demand harpists. She particularly enjoys playing at wedding ceremonies and receptions - and is in great demand through her combination of wide repertoire and friendly personality. Whether bride and groom prefer classical or modern, traditional or popular, Angela makes great efforts to tailor the appropriate musical style.

Her background lies in orchestral work, where she plays primarily with the Opera House, Covent Garden, The London Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Angela is equally at home playing solo or chamber music and has performed for most of the UK Royal Family. She is as well known to Andre Agassi and Claudia Schiffer, having been guest soloist at the Wimbledon Gala Dinner for three years, and having provided the musical backing to the latter's wedding.

Angela has played for countless visiting dignitaries and an array of music societies. She has recently recorded a CD of arias with Roberto Alagna and the ROH orchestra, conducted by Mark Elder, and can be heard on soundtracks such as the Lord of the Rings, recorded with composer-conductor Howard Shore. She has also toured regularly, building an international following and bringing a wide and varied repertoire to audiences around the world.

This extremely talented artiste performs regularly as part of an established flute and harp duo and presents solo masterclasses in harp music, techniques and technologies through the ages.
