Jason Dupuy C.Eng., B.Eng. (Hons.)

Jason started his DJ career in Sydney, Australia, playing at many venues including Sydney Harbour. On his return to London he continued playing at weddings, corporate events and private functions; working for many well known agents, playing at top venues across the U.K. and overseas. Today an established club DJ with such a variation of music experience, he is extremely versatile and can play the right music to keep the dance floor energetic all night; catering for any music taste and age group; be it a corporate event, wedding or club.

Residencies include Tattershall Castle Night Club - Westminster, Sound - Leicester Square, "House of Fun" @ Carling Academy (Formerly The Marquee) - Islington, Oxygen - Leicester Square, Electric Ballroom - Camden, Liquid Blue - Mayfair, Callaghans - Piccadilly Circus and Old Cobblers - Holborn, and Yates - Leicester Square.

Jason is the only ever DJ to have been invited to play at the Houses of Parliament. Other notable events include the B.B.C Christmas Party, El Divino's - Ibiza, Miami Winter Music Conference @ Onda - South Beach, Grosvenor House Ballroom - Park Lane (largest ballroom in Europe 2000 people)

He is lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to play live on national radio, playing house music on a Saturday night show.

Corporate events include prestigious venues such as The Savoy, The Waldorf, Sheraton Park Towers, Grosvenor House, Park Lane Hotel, Natural History Museum, and Winchester House; playing for clients such as The Labour Party, Shell, British Airways, Barclays, Deloitte & Touche, Morgan Stanley, Lunn Polly and Tower Records. Over the years he has performed for, or worked alongside a few celebrities along the way, including Foxy - Capital FM, Pete Waterman, Simon Cowell - Pop Idols and Michael Hesseltine.

Although his availability is scarce nowadays, Jason still enjoys playing at a good wedding, playing all the classic favourites and dancefloor fillers from yester-year. He was also recently booked to do an 80th Birthday Party in Putney for some mad grannies in their living room!!

Jason specialises in Funky House, Hard House, Trance and commercial dance music; however he carrys a 5000 track set which includes R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Rock, Indie, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's dance classics. He will always ensure he plays appropriate music for the occasion and puts the requests of his audience above his own taste, unless instructed otherwise. Jason's play list is sent to clients in advance of their function so they can mark off requests and indicate preferences. This gives Jason the chance to prepare properly for each event.

Jason is currently producing some dance tracks, remixes and re-edits. He and the staff at Platinum are also organising a Bank Holiday Event for next year.
