Loaded
Loaded
are a four-piece band comprising male lead vocals/rhythm guitar,
lead guitar, drums and bass. The band play a wide range of 60s
to 2000s hits from The Beatles to Britpop Elvis, Oasis, Robbie
Williams, 70s disco...... ideal for weddings and parties of all
kinds.
Many
people say they are the best/most exciting act they've booked
and Time Out the London entertainment magazine seem to agree:
"La creme de la creme," is how their listings page described
Loaded. Neil Morrisey from 'Men Behaving Badly' also commented
but we cannot print the complete transcript. Suffice to say the
general essence was that they were "
the dog's b******s"!!!
The band has also recently appeared in an episode of EastEnders,
hired by Andy to impress Kat at a romantic tête-à-tête
in the park.
They
can provide background music on CD or Minidisc, and they also
have their own high quality PA and lighting system to highlight
the band. The band usually perform for three 40-minute sets. As
another option, Andy (lead vocals/guitar) and Jude (guitar) appear
as a duo performing to their own studio-recorded backing tapes.
As well as appearing at London's grooviest nightspots, Loaded
have played at numerous weddings and parties at all the best places,
and can be relied upon to get everyone up and dancing.
What
People Say
"The
Band made the night; talented, approachable and flexible. The
dance floor was crowded, and they even let the bridegroom sing!!
Positive comments received from all guests, the band rounded off
a perfect day. Highly recommended."
Cara Coxhead, wedding reception, Essex, May 2005
"The
band hit the tone needed all through the night, really top quality
performance, and the band were really in the spirit of the party.
Cheers guys"
James Bushnell, wedding reception, Middlesex, February 2005
"Thanks
for a great evening."
Paul Mintern, birthday party, Hertfordshire, April 2005
"
we
wanted to get in touch immediately to let you know how delighted
we were with Loaded's performance at our wedding. The band were
absolutely outstanding and made sure that the evening was a fun
and happy occasion for everyone. Any band that can keep people
dancing all night - from the youngest at 13 years old to the oldest
at 86 years - is worthy of high praise indeed. They played a great
mix of songs, all of which they performed excellently, and were
willing to do an encore of a couple of the favourites which had
absolutely everyone on the dance floor at the end! They were great
to deal with and we hope they enjoyed the event half as much as
we did
