Jason DJs at clubs worldwide, national radio, television, prestigious corporate events and celebrity weddings. He has built up valuable DJ experience playing at well over 1000 events, but is always keen to learn and is constantly striving to improve his performances. He is extremely friendly, reliable and will always play your requests and favourite tunes to produce a thoroughly enjoyable performance and memorable party.Jason provides the best portable Sound System available on the market. Not just in terms of volume, but clarity and punch.

This means the volume doesn’t necessarily have to be loud to build a great atmosphere throughout the evening. Volume is built up in a subtle and tasteful way, appropriate to each event.

He has used his QSC Sound System in festival tents, corporate and celebrity parties, weddings and private events. Ideal for parties between 30 and 2000 people. The Mobile Night Club Upgrades consist of 3 QSC Packages, 4000 Watts & 6000 Watts, complete with a UHF Radio Microphone for speeches.

Also included is a really impressive Overhead Lighting Gantry using Intelligent Projection Lighting as used in Night Clubs with full colour 1000 Watt 3D lasers, high power club scanners, tasteful projection lighting, mood lighting and top of the range LED star cloth DJ booth.

Jason guarantees to play all of your requests made in advance no matter what genre, if they are provided on UK release. He carries 120.000 tracks with him for guests to make requests on the night and will constantly strive to play tracks to keep the dance floor packed at all times, entertaining all the age groups in attendance and catering for as many tastes as possible.

Career

Jason started his DJ career in Sydney, Australia, playing at many venues including Sydney Harbour. On his return to London he continued playing at clubs, weddings,corporate events and private functions; working for many well known agents, playing at top venues across the U.K. and overseas.

Today Jason is a well established club DJ and member of the Musician’s Union with such a variety of music experience from working in so many well known clubs (listed below) with different music policies from House, Trance, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, RnB and Hip Hop, Funky House and Electro, to Commercial Pop and Chart. Jason is armed with the right music for any event and has the valuable experience to back it up.

He carries an extremely versatile playlist consisting of over 50,000 tracks and can play the appropriate music to keep the dance floor energetic all night.

Jason will caters for any music taste be it a club or a private event, entertaining all the age groups in attendance.Most importantly of all he has the natural gift to create a fantastic atmosphere.  

Notable Events:

House of Commons 2002. Jason is the first ever DJ to have been invited to play at the Houses of Parliament in 2002. This was a very prestigious event and he found it reassuring to see some rather well known politicians dancing just like everyone else after a few drinks. It was good fun and quite surreal! B.B.C. Christmas Party 2001 – 2003. This was Jason’s first TV channel event. Once the party got swinging he could relax and enjoy the spectacle of B.B.C employees and the occasional presenter going for it on the stage or tables surrounding the dance floor – true entertainment. El Divino’s – Ibiza 2004. A great tick in the box for Jason’s personal DJ achievements the opportunity to play at the Dance Music Mecca of the world – Ibiza – in the days of Vinyl- amazing. U.E.F.A. Champions League Final – Wembley 2011. Jason was asked to mix up a DJ set consisting of Lounge Music and Chillout for the breaks and after party for the biggest match of the football calendar. The stadium held 90,000 people that day. Platinum DJs also provided DJ Vicky Devine (from Judgement Sundays, Ibiza) and DJ Michelle Ericsson (U.S.A.) to perform in the V.I.P. and V.V.I.P. parties. A very high profile event with royal families, politicians, players and celebrities in attendance.   Grosvenor House Ballroom – Park Lane, London (largest ballroom in Europe 2000 people) This gig stood out for Jason as being slightly different. Although having played at Grosvenor House on many occasions to a whole host of famous people at various events; on this particular occasion, Jason was standing in for Capital FM Radio DJ and Pop Idol Judge – Foxy as he was unable to make it. Jason enjoyed being involved as part of the overall production team consisting of over 40 crew behind the scenes producing, managing, and operating lighting, effects, PA’s, Mic levels, TV Cameras and so on; not to mention 4 days of set installation and breakdown. There was even a TV commentator with a very familiar voice sitting in the booth next to Jason making all the commentary. The gig really made Jason appreciate all the work, effort and logistics that go in to putting on a TV show of that size. Trying to wear 2 pairs of headphones was quite funny as well, one pair or DJ headphones and a pair of production headphones for instructions from the producer.

Miami Winter Music Conference 2004. This was a very educational experience for Jason. WMC Miami is a kind of pre-season, American, Ibiza where artists and producers are all pushing their new tracks to record labels for the forthcoming summer. All the big promoters have a night on and the week culminates with the Ultra Dance Festival. It was a tough, but thoroughly enjoyable week burning the candle at both ends going to the DJ Event Parties in the Evening such as Defected, Hed Kandi, Ultra Festival, plus Jason’s own set at Amica on Miami South Beach and then get up each morning to attend the actual Conference. There was so much to learn from the pioneers of the music industry. Lectures found useful were, Production, Songwriting & Publishing, Media Relations, Get Signed, Digital Radio, Event Promotion, Legal & Finance (not the most exciting perhaps), Copyright & Piracy (that was also a struggle), New Media Marketing & Revenue Streams and Independent Label. Jason came back from Miami refreshed, rejuvinated and with floods of ideas to implement in to his DJ sets and career. That’s what Jason loves about the music industry – there are so many facets there is always somewhere to improve, so he is constantly refining ideas to keep ahead. The Miami Music Conference demonstrated the diversity of expertise involved across the Industry and now Jason could begin to understand the depth of knowledge required to succeed in each area and have the contacts to help.

Sound – Leicester Square (2003 – 2005) as headline act mixing up a chunky set of RnB, Hip Hop, Garage and Urban. Jason frequently worked alongside Radion 1 DJ Trevor Nelson performing to 2000 people at one of London’s most famous night spots in the epicentre of London’s commercial club land, Leicester Square.

House of Fun @ Carling Academy – Islington (2006). A blast from the past mixing some old vinyl, predominantly 70’s, 80’s and Funky Disco. This gave Jason the opportunity to learn more about the older genres and play cool but familiar tracks in his DJ set alongside live acts to create an awesome atmosphere. Capacity 1500 Oxygen – Leicester Square (2004-2005). A cool two level club A in the well known Leicester Square. Jason’s DJ sets covered Funky House, Electro, Uplifting House and Club Classics. Capacity 600 Electric Ballroom – Camden (2006). A large club with 2000 capacity set in the trendy Camden Town area of London. Jason had to cater for a multitude of music tastes here with a mixture of age groups and cultures both locals and tourists. Music was kept mainstream and versatile across Current Chart, Commercial House, RnB, 70’s and 80’s.

Liquid Blue – Mayfair (2006). A very exclusive DJ club with a 200 capacity. Music policy was kept very up to date and commercial. Intimate venue as dance floor and stage in close proximity to the DJ booth which gave great feedback to each performance. Callaghan’s – Piccadilly Circus (1999 – 2001). Set right next to all the bright lights of Piccadilly Circus and a capacity of 300 there are some vivid memories of plenty of busy nights held there. Platinum DJs promoted the nights with their street team and promotional staff. Music policy was Rock, Indie, Oldies and Irish, leading to much dancing on the tables and bar.

Old Cobblers – Holborn (2000). A regular Friday night jaunt for 400 of London’s financial district and after a few beers they knew how to party! Again a mixture of up to date genres with some 70’s and 80’s. Yates – Leicester Square (2004). Thursday nights – capacity 750. Jason played to largely a RnB, Hip Hop crowd and used the opportunity to enhance the atmosphere VJ’ing with some videos and visuals. Jason often found himself walking between the 3 clubs he was DJ’ing at in Leicester Square to play a set at each. Lot s of stamina required. Henry’s – Richmond (2007). Capacity 500. Funky House, Electro, RnB. Lively late licence bar which developed quite a following.
