DJ Playlists & Requests

Every event is unique. Music is the most important factor of any DJ performance to ensure everybody enjoys themselves. That is why Platinum DJs encourages DJ Playlists & Requests in advance, so that we arrive armed with all of your favourite tunes to dance to. We use our experience to mix them together in the right order, taking into consideration the atmosphere on the dance floor, the key, speed, energy and popularity of the track. We incorporate all of your tunes in our set to build momentum on the dance floor and engage all age groups to celebrate with you in a fantastic atmosphere.

From experience a list of 20-30 tracks work best. Some people would rather just leave it up to us totally, some give a general guideline on genres and others are extremely detailed selecting every tune. Either way, we will work with you to make sure your event has the music you have requested and we will incorporate requests made on the night unless instructed otherwise.

Platinum DJs cover every music genre. We have a music library of over 100,000 tracks. Any tracks we don’t have, we buy ready for your event. Playlists are updated weekly with new releases and the latest charts. We play the music you want to hear and have the knack of playing the right tune at the right time to really get the crowd going.
