All Wedding DJ bookings are contractual, leaving you to enjoy your special event, knowing that everything is in capable hands and not having to worry about DJs turning up/ lateness/ illness/ equipment breakdown. We have a Wedding DJ roster of 36 DJs to cover any illness issues and a back up van with replacement equipment in the very rare event of a breakdown.

We spend significantly more than our competitors on Wedding DJ equipment to make sure it is of the highest quality both in performance and reliability. All Wedding DJ equipment is maintained and tested in accordance with I.S.O. 9002 (P.A.T. Testing).

Platinum also have £1 million Public Liability Insurance which most venues will insist upon. Copies of both Certificates will be sent to you with your Wedding DJ quote.

The Wedding DJ sound system is of night club Specification offering punchy bass, with powerful mid-range and clear treble. The Wedding DJ lighting rig we supply is also of night club specification (but portable) consisting of 2 x DMX Linked Intelligent Projection Abstract Twister 4 – 250 Watt HPs, which beam synchronous colours and patterns in a laser type effect when used in conjunction with a Fog/Haze machine (also included).

There are also 2 x XTC 250 Rainbow Scanner / Splitters which cover the walls, ceiling and dancefloor with a rainbow flood of warm colours. The lighting can be controlled to give a contemporary night club display or a more traditional party/disco presentation.

The reason we provide the best Wedding DJ equipment available is because we know it is absolutely necessary to create the right atmosphere on the dancefloor. Nobody wants to dance to distorted music and dull lighting.

We cater for all sizes of Wedding Receptions and are flexible with our Wedding DJ Equipment specifications to cater for all tastes and budgets.

Platinum will only offer a Wedding DJ that has undertaken and passed our in-house Wedding DJ training programme. However, there is no substitute for years and years of experience.

A more experienced Wedding DJ will do a far better job at filling the dancefloor at your Event. Their performance, mixing ability and ability to read the crowd will be more polished.

The Wedding DJ can play a selection of background music during dinner to create a pleasant ambience, whilst monitoring the volume so as not to intrude on conversation around the tables.

We have traditional background music including Jazz and Ratpack or something a bit more contemporary such as Bhudda Bar. You can also request what background music you would like the Wedding DJ to play.

Our Wedding DJ Playlists consist of over 10,000 tracks covering every music genre from 1920′s to current. We update DJ Playlists every week to keep abreast of current music releases. This allows us to play around 95% of all requests made on the night by guests.

All of our DJs are happy to take requests both in advance and on the night as well as play music to keep the dance floor busy all night.

Platinum DJs operate a FREE Wedding DJ Advance Request Service – allowing you to choose your favourite tracks should you wish. This will ensure the music played is specifically chosen for your Event. You are also welcome to create your own list of songs. Any tracks that are not on our list that you wish to have played, we will purchase especially for your event.

Our Wedding DJ package comes complete with a Shure SM58 Microphone with 1500 Watt PA system so the Wedding Party can make speeches.

We also offer Sennheiser EM-1 UHF Cordless Radio Microphones so speeches can be made from the top table rather than been tied to the DJ Booth. These Radio Microphones are of very high quality to eliminate interference and feedback.
