DJ Kev H is an up-and-coming DJ known for his love of all music.

Whether playing at intimate venues or larger events, Kev brings a contagious enthusiasm and a genuine love for music to every performance.

His love for music started at a young age which progressed into becoming a DJ.  Since then he has been involved with various radio sets as well as making an appearance at Essex Pride earlier this year.

Where have Female DJ Duo Lorraine Ashdown & Janice Vee played

Their passion for dance music has led them to play at clubs like Ministry of Sound, The Astoria, The Cross, The Jazz Café, Dingwalls & Rouge. They were the support act at Wembley Arena for the Spice Girls and have introduced live artists like Moloko, Lynden David Hall and Gus Gus on stage. The female DJ duo have warmed up for DJ legends Masters at Work, Gilles Peterson and Marshall Jefferson, as well as playing at clubs in Ibiza for MTV Rocks and Manumission. Lorraine has completed two DJ tours of Brazil taking in Rio, Sao Paulo and Brasilia. 

These days the girls have a monthly residency at Boisdale Canary Wharf and regularly introduce the live bands playing there like Odyssey, Loose Ends, Roland Gift and Boney M.

I just wanted to let you know that I had a fantastic evening and a lot of that was down to Steve creating a fun and happy atmosphere. He got guests on the dance floor immediately and kept them there! He engaged with my guests to participate and made me feel very special during the evening.

Sam is a legend!

Sam was absolutely amazing from start to finish! In the run up to the event he stayed in touch and let me change around my playlist quite a few times haha. He played all the music I wanted and it led to a great 25th birthday. Will definitely use Sam again when I need a DJ – thanks again

1 – Daisy and Freya 

Sam started the evening off with a bang, easing the guests onto the dance floor after a big meal and speeches. With his choice of utter bangers the dance floor soon was swamped with 21 year olds all having a great time and he continued to match the songs to the right crowd.

His attention to detail before the party, getting to know the music tastes of myself and my sister, getting us also to write song preferences of what we wanted to gain the most out of his entertainment.

Sam is definitely not just a lovely guy who loves to get good energy going around but is also on point when it comes to what people want from him. I would definitely recommend him for a great all night boogie. Thanks Sam!

2 – Ben Pitt 

My honest review is as follows. 

Having not had to book a DJ for a party before we were a little fearful it could turn out to be a disaster. I am however thankful to say this couldn’t have been further from reality. 

Sam was every bit the professional you would hope for. With a pre booking pre party consultation we were asked the size of crowd, music taste and any special requests. 

When it came to party night Sam was on time, well-equipped and having been in constant dialogue knew the type of crowd he was playing to. Most of the people were middle aged non dancers but Sam worked his magic and really got a feel for the room.  Before long there were more people dancing than sitting and it made the party a huge success. 

For lack of a better phrase Sam really brought the heart and soul of the party with him. The fact he made the effort to match the dress code for the evening despite being behind the decks all night was a true indication of his professional dedication. 

It’s safe to say any future party’s or requested recommendations will result in a call to DJ White Duke. 

3 – Sharon Matthews

The wonderful DJ Sam did a amazing job at my wedding reception on the 30th July 2022. He agreed to meet before the day and was happy to take on my playlist also taking requests from our guests. Every one on our special day said what a amazing DJ and will recommend him when needed.

4 – Chloe and Theo 

Thank you so so so so much Sam for being an absolutely fantastic DJ all night long! We both aren’t big dancers and we weren’t expecting to be on the dance floor all night, but the music was just too good – and everyone was having such a blast! We had such a great time dancing away with our families and friends – many gave compliments about you the day after! We have so many memories on that dance floor that we will cherish for the rest of our lives, and that’s thanks to you Sam! We wish we could do it all over again! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!!

A huge thank you to White Duke for making my party unique to me! Mr Duke took the time and effort to understand what I wanted from the DJ set, made the set suit my choice of music and kept the party on the dance floor all night! Huge respect to Mr Duke for being so considerate for making it a memorable night for me and allowing me to party without concern for the music…

6 – Charlie and Will Hale

We couldn’t have wished for a better DJ to fill the dance floor on our wedding day! We were very specific in our requests (we love hip-hop and RnB!) but were keen to make sure we had a few hits to get the older crowd dancing too. Sam met with us ahead of our big day and was meticulous in his planning, listening to all our demands and guiding us on some tunes that would appeal to all the guests. He completely nailed our brief and everyone was on the dance floor all night! We are so grateful to Sam for providing the perfect soundtrack to our wedding party. My Dad’s legs were aching so much from all the dancing that he couldn’t walk the next day! Thank you Sam for making that dance floor so memorable, we will recommend you to everyone we know!

I had organised a surprise 30th party for my partner. Sam has been great the whole way through this process. We arranged a few phone calls beforehand to talk through the evening. He took my ideas on and on the night it turned out exactly how I envisioned it!

I can’t thank Sam enough for his part on the night. From arriving early to set up, providing fab lighting and the music was simply perfect to everyone up dancing the whole night long!! I had a mixture of ages attend and Sam catered to all of them.

Sam DJ’d at my pool party this August, it was absolutely amazing! He had a call with me first to understand the sort of vibe I wanted and any tracks I wanted included in the set (and ones I didn’t). He totally got it and his music made the party, he had such a good mix of old school and current tracks that got everyone dancing. We hosted a big party at our home and Sam was engaged to be the DJ for the whole day and evening. He arrived in plenty of time and was so courteous and helpful in fitting in with all the other arrangements being made for the day. The sound on his system was fantastic and Sam chose the best music for the garden party set and then for dancing later. We had such a great time and in no small part down to Sam’s brilliant choice of music and judgement of the mood of each stage of the day. A couple of people asked for Sam’s details in the days after the party because they were so impressed and wanted to book him. One for her wedding another for a birthday party. We would highly recommend him.
