Originally from South London, UK, DJ Robi Roka was exposed to urban culture and dance music from a very young age. Starting out as a Jungle/Garage MC on a number of Pirate radio stations such as Flashback FM and Taste FM in London under the name of MC Rimes, Roka then found a passion for DJing. He quickly learned to mix the good ol’ way on a pair of technics 1210s and went on to perform at various nightclubs around London.

DJ Robi Roka is a versatile DJ and producer with 5 years experience of working in the top bars and clubs around Asia. Robi plays a vast array of genres including House, Hip Hop, Funk and Drum and Bass. He has also created  his own brands; Love2funk and Urban Asia supporting the likes of Andy C, DJ Hype, DJ Rasp (UK DMC Champion), Sammy Bananas (food gold), Matrix, Digital. In 18 Club Taipei he played Funky House, EDM and Top 40 to a high level of clientele and also ran a monthly event called love2funk.
