Hi Lynn,

As you may recall, my husband and I got married a couple of months ago and DJ Wayne played at our ceremony.

We are aware that it took quite a long time, but we both wanted to thank him very much for gifting us and our guests with an amazing time on the dance floor! I guess the best way to give our feedback to his performance is to say that even my father (whom nobody had barely seen dancing at all, not even in his 20’s…) was on the dance floor.

With his smart selection of music that made everybody happy, he really managed to bring together people who didn’t really know each other.

A 5 star job Wayne!

Thank you Wayne for doing a great job once and again and getting people up and dancing. he only feedback I’ve had was that it would be good to have a slightly more varied choice of music. With the group as varied as we have we understand the challenge of achieving this, but that was the only negatice comment. Wayne is a deligt to work with, professional but friendly and responsive to the needs of the event.

Great service and communication. DJ Wayne Smooth was amazing and had everyone on their feet!

Nice to deal with, and I booked a great DJ – Wayne – who kept us all on the dance floor way past midnight (despite a so-called friend hi-jacking my play-/wish list for a while!) Can highly recommend Wayne. He was a star!

Platinum Services were amazing to deal with from start to finish. They helped make finding a DJ for my husband’s 50th party so easy and simple and we were thrilled to have DJ wayne be our DJ for the night. He was so friendly and relaxed throughout the whole build up and on the night was completely efficient and timely. He knows exactly what he is doing and you feel 100% comfortable having him run the show. He brilliantly incorporated the advanced playlist we asked for. He read the crowd and played exactly what was needed and even took some ‘country’ requests AND squeezed in a but of ‘jungle’!! My husband and all our guests had the most epic night so a huge thank you again to Wayne and all the staff at Platinum. I’ll have no trouble recommending your services!

Wayne was amazing! I honestly couldn’t have asked for better. He played all the songs on my wish list and then others I hadn’t even thought of. He introduced himself at the beginning of the night and made sure everything was ok at the end. I spent literally the whole night on the dancefloor. He arrived on time, was smartly dressed and was great. My groom (who never notices anything), mentioned how great and nice the DJ was.

As for you Lynn, you were equally great. Thanks for always responding so quickly to all of my emails. I know there were plenty- it’s hard planning a wedding from overseas and you usually have to wait for vendors to reply, this was never the case with you. I always got an email within the hour and that helps relieve a lot of stress. I would recommend you all to everyone. I really appreciate everything you did.

Having read the reviews on main website, it was a no brainer that someone of Wayne’s profile had to be hired for my 40th shin-dig at u plush hotel in central London for up to 100 guests. And boy did he not disappoint!!

Having profiled him with a list of song requests in advance of date, I might as well not have bothered!! As the music he played varying from the Soulful, AfroBeats, Basement to RnB jams and back and forth had the whole crowd jumping!! He’s experience of knowing when to switch between songs, interjecting, whilst a song was being played and hyping up the crowd, was right on the money!! And having watched the DVD of birthday time after since, only confirms that every penny spent on hiring this man, was money well spent in my eyes!!

Rest assured, not only will I recommend him to any family/friend of mine who requires a DJ but will be using him again and when I get married going forward. Seriously reader, you will not be disappointed in hiring the one and only AKA – DJ Wayne Smooth..

A true gent of a man also.

Just like to pass on our thanks to Platinum Djs and DJ Wayne Smooth himself for a great night.

Wayne was able to read the varied crowd excellently and after a slow start on the dance floor got things going with plenty of 80’s and 90’s crowd pleasers.
Also had no problems with any requests and generally being a cool guy kicking things along.

We were extremely happy how things went and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wayne to wanting to ensure their party goes off!

So lively and got music choice and interaction with the party folk spot on. No one wanted him to go home. So if you’re wavering, don’t. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. We found Wayne to be friendly, very personable and very easy to talk to. I’d already had a quick conversation with him when he phoned me some days before the party to discuss the song list I’d sent, and he turned out to be just as jolly and chatty face-2-face. He kept the party moving, gauged the modes beautifully and changed the music to suit the dancers. I’ve had nothing but great compliments back from the party-goers regarding what he played and how he joined it all together. It seemed to run smoothly which pointed to the fact that it was well thought out and beautifully planned. After taking my song list from me, more of a guide than a list of songs, Wayne took the mood and feel out of the list and seemed to build around it and the conversation w’d had and, for me, it was a great collection of songs; he even introduced me to some more up-to-date songs that I’d heard before but which fitted into the general groove.

Friends of ours are getting married soon and although they have already booked their DJ they have taken some song ideas from Wayne’s set to introduce to their DJ. Just reading back through this and it sounds really gushy but I cannot think of a bad or off-key moment in the set Wayne played and I personally danced as much as I was able and possibly more than I should have as the host, but the music was too good to ignore.

I would thoroughly recommend Wayne and your company to anyone who asks and thanks again to you and, of course, Wayne for making this party such a success. We may not leave it ten years for the next party and if we have another we will certainly come back to you for the music. Thanks again

I wanted you to please pass on my thanks to Wayne and Jay for their fantastic efforts at our wedding. They were simply brilliant. Dear Lynn
I just wanted to say a few words and share our thanks to your company and obviously to Wayne.

I connected with Wayne (our Wedding DJ) on our first conversation. Basically Wayne texted me details he required for our wedding. Soon after I texted the details, Wayne telephoned me and we had a conversation that lasted around 30/40 minutes. I knew after I had put the telephone down we had the right man, Wayne had put any doubts I had firmly to bed.

Wayne was always on hand before our big day with valuable advice, music, speech arrangement, first dance etc. So to the main event, the evening reception. On our arrival Wayne was already there with music playing in the background, even though we were at least 40 minutes earlier than expected. Wayne introduced himself to my wife and I and congratulated the pair of us; Wayne was extremely polite and friendly and was everything I/we had expected and much more.

There was a twist to our first dance that Wayne and my best man had hatched, which was executed wickedly. Once our first dance was over it was time for our guests to boogie and to show everyone his skills in DJ-ing. Wayne filled the dance floor all night with his knowledge of music. We (my wife and I) spoke the next day that there was people who do not normally dance was up on the dance floor enjoying themselves. Not only was Wayne playing the music but was speaking over the microphone and getting everyone buzzing and making sure everyone was having a real good time. Young and old was up dancing, amazing, I think I speak for everyone on the night that we did not want the disco to stop.

We left the whole playlist to Wayne (after all said and done he’s the expert), and how right was we.

Our guests commented on Wayne’s excellent performance which made us proud as the evening reception is all about our guests and if they are enjoying themselves then so are we. Part of me thinks Wayne might have enjoyed himself as well (lol), Wayne is so passionate about his music and that comes across very clear. Wayne always had a smile on his face.

Words cannot express how delighted we were to have Wayne on board as part of our entertainment, a true professional and gent.

We thank you Wayne from the bottom of our hearts, you are the man.

Wayne was a brilliant DJ. He had a huge selection of music and was extremely accommodating with song choices! He kept everyone dancing for most of the night!! He was also very helpful with a microphone for the Brides father’s speech (my Dad!)

Dear all,
Wayne was our DJ at the Great Ormond Street Hospital Masquerade Xmas Ball on 2nd Dec at Double Tree Hilton, Holborn.
We would like to say a big thank you to Wayne for such a wonderful night. Everyone really enjoyed the music and he knows how to get the party started! We danced the whole night and didn’t want the night to end at all. The music was fantastic and kept up with the mood of the crowd.
He also went round the venue taking photos of us enjoying! Thanks so much Wayne and hope to have you again at our next party!!!
