Comments : Kelly was absolutely great, she was the key to making my party a brilliant success. Kelly and I discussed the set in advance and she delivered the brief just perfectly on the night. Kelly helped to create a fun and happy atmosphere. She is both highly knowledgeable and intuitive about which music will work best. All my guests loved the tunes she played and lots of people have asked me how I found such a fantastic DJ. Kelly was a delight to work with and the booking process was also smooth, friendly and professional. I would hire Kelly again in a heartbeat and anyone would be lucky to have her at their party.

Honestly the best DJ we’ve hired and we have hired many over the years, so good that I’m going to be booking her for our wedding next year and I know we will have the perfect night:) The communication was brilliant and she took note of everything songs ideas and requests and had everyone up dancing for hours. Would highly recommend her. And reasonably priced unlike most these days and then on top of that they never have anything you suggest before or ask for on the night. Thanks again Kelly, a great night had by all.

Absolutely fantastic DJ. Professional, police and respectful, very easy to work with. Communication excellent. Arrive well in advance to set up, packed away quickly and efficiently. Party goers were able to request songs throughout the evening. Songs requested in advance were all played. Catered for all ages/music tastes. Read the crowd extremely well. Fantastic, cannot recommend enough.

Kelly was fabulous! She played all the right songs to get people up and dancing. She was also very fun & professional.

Kelly was our DJ at my son’s birthday party. She was a massive hit with the family and friends. She was happy to take requests which was great so that we had songs we want to hear. Reliability

First of all you want someone who is reliable. There is nothing worse than your DJ not showing up on your wedding day, party or event because there simply won’t be a party if your DJ is going to let you down.  Ask around; get recommendations from friends & family. Have they had good experiences with DJs before? They might be able to recommend someone that will do a great job!

Reviews

When searching on the Internet you will be bombarded with DJs offering their services. What can be really helpful is to search for genuine reviews. A DJ with years of experience will have lots of positive feedback and recommendations from his previous customers. If they don’t there is a reason!

Back up

Make sure back up DJs and equipment are included in the services you are offered. No one wants to be let down, but there might occur a situation where your DJ can’t make it whether because of illness or breakdown of transport or equipment. A professional DJ or DJ agency will always offer you back up.

Equipment

Ask what equipment and lighting (DJ Booth) the DJ uses and what he will bring to your party. It might not sound important to you in the first place, but listening to music through cheap & distorting speakers is irritating. Discuss how many people are attending and make sure the sound system is right for your size and quality party.

Experience & skills of a great DJ

Make sure your DJ has mixing skills and a large music library. A good DJ is capable of mixing tracks of different genres together seamlessly. With good mixing skills comes a great party. Anyone can put some music on but you book a professional DJ for making the music float nicely as this makes the atmosphere. Another very important ingredient is reading the crowd. A professional will have no problem to get people up and dancing in no time, and keep them there.

Price

Price. If you are after the lowest price rather than the importance of a professional, don’t expect to be impressed with the DJs skills or equipment. Good equipment, experience and professionalism come with a price. When you pay little money just be aware of the fact you very likely will get let down either in skills, equipment or no show.

These are just a few tips to get you started with your search to the right entertainer for your party.

One last tip! Get the right DJ. Search for someone that loves playing the music you like. You will have the best time with a DJ that gets enjoyment from entertaining you.

Simon was a joy to have as our wedding DJ. We had a couple of great conversations via Zoom prior to our big day, in which we discussed our vision for the evening and his working style, and this helped us feel understood and left us feeling confident knowing we were all on the same page. We specifically wanted a DJ who would provide a good “flow” to the evening without needing to make frequent anouncements, and who would oick certain moments to chime in with the guests to ensure everyone was involved and having fun – and Simon did just that. We just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your help and the services you provided for Ella’s 18th party on Saturday. It was an amazing evening, Simon the DJ was brilliant. It was great to have the zoom call with him the week before so he had a good understanding of the vibe we both wanted.

We had so many people young and also us oldies up dancing for most of the night so that shows what a fab DJ he was.

It took people a few attempts with the magic mirror to understand how it worked as people’s heads were getting cut off as we couldn’t see the image on the screen. However we still have lots of great memories from that and great to have the book with images to keep and the memory stick was such a lovely feature.

Simon was working for me at Klub Dopler in Prievoska in district of Ruzinov until Klub closed.

He was good DJ because he bring many UK Dance music with him. Friday evening was his spot every month for nearly three years. He was always happy and wanted to make sure the crowd was dancing. He was very professional and was much help to Klub resident DJ.

He worked hard with his  mix, make sure the crowd enjoyed his sets. Many time he would play music before Klub opened to be sure that the mix would work and he ask people about his mix. He is serious (sorry my English writing is terrible!) about is music.

Bratislava now has many smaller Klubs – not so big – but I would recommend him back!

Thanks for organising the DJ Kit Leonard for my Granddaughters 16th birthday party the evening was fantastic thanks to Kit and Michael. any comments: Michael really catered to what we needed – it was a bit unusual as this was a house party not a wedding etc.. but he took it all in his stride and adapted to the situation. He used our playlist and incorporated other songs too – good mixing. Job well done. thanks.

Attached is the email for Michael the DJ who was at Olivia’s party and the booking form. Ask Jason to get him for you. Jason will also talk to you about the party by phone and michael will play what you need – just talk to him a few days ahead of time so that he can bring the right music. Also if you have cake etc. he will time the party for that. He may also ask you to get party gifts for dance etc contests (I did that and the kids loved it.) It was a bit expensive but worth every penny.
