Experience

With experience comes great performances for maximum enjoyment. The Wedding Disco sound system is of night club Specification. Punchy bass with powerful mid-range and clear treble. The Wedding Disco lighting rig we supply is portable, but of night club specification. The lighting rig consists 2 x DMX Linked Intelligent Projection, Abstract Twister 4 – 250 Watt HPs (which beam synchronous colours and patterns in a laser type effect when used in conjunction with a Fog/Haze machine).

There are also 2 x XTC 250 Watt Rainbow Scanner/Splitters to cover the walls, ceiling and dancefloor with a rainbow flood of warm colours. The lighting can be controlled to give a contemporary night club display or a more traditional disco presentation.

Our Wedding DJs Playlists consist over 50,000 tracks covering every music genre from 1920’s to current. We update our DJ Playlists every week to stay up to date with the current music. This allows us to play around 95% of all requests made on the night by the guests. All our DJs are happy to take requests.

Platinum DJs operate a free Wedding DJ Advance Request Service. This allows you to choose your favourite tracks. It ensures the played music is specifically chosen for your Wedding. You are also welcome to create your own list of songs. We will purchase any tracks that are not on our list.

Our Wedding DJ package comes with a Shure SM58 Microphone and 1500 Watt PA system for speeches.

We also offer Sennheiser EM-1 UHF Cordless Radio Microphones so speeches can be made from the top table. These Radio Microphones are of very high quality to eliminate interference and feedback.

Background Music

The Wedding DJ can play a selection of background music during dinner to create a pleasant ambiance. He can monitor the volume so it won’t intrude on conversations around the tables.

We have traditional background music including Jazz and Ratpack. We also have something a bit more contemporary such as Bhudda Bar, Chillout and Lounge Music. You can request any background music you would like the Wedding DJ to play.
