Book your first dance lessons with your own DJ! Paul is a versatile, all-round DJ & professional dance teacher from New Zealand. He can teach you to perform a brilliant first dance & give a great performance while being the DJ at your wedding.
Background
Paul has a strong musical foundation. He started Ballroom and Latin at the age of 5, competing and placing first at the age of 7 in junior ballroom. Paul attended The Corelli School of the Arts at the age of 13 to further his musical and dramatic learning. He was also part of the sound, lighting and stage production crew and took up Ballroom & Latin again. He also started Rueda (a fun Cuban style of Salsa) and founded his DJ & entertainment business.

Ballroom, Salsa & More
Paul started with a Bachatango/Salsa performance team at Viva Dance. From there he took up a number of other teams in Salsa, Bachata and Zouk. He also accompanied his mother with teaching beginners/improvers Ballroom and Latin classes at Viva Dance. Paul also gave other Ballroom, Salsa and Bachata classes including starting his own dance brands “La Costa Dance and West Salsa’. He has contracts with schools and teaches private wedding dances.
