Poland’s Przystanek festival pays homage to the legendary Woodstock festival of 1979. The festival is free and usually has an attendance of about 550,000 people. The festival is primarily a rock music festival and usually hosts about 80 different acts.
Coachella (California, USA)
America’s most popular festival Coachella is consistently a complete sell out. The festival holds about 675,000 people and has a laid back, hippie vibe. The lineup is usually very varied with an emphasis on alternative and indie genres.
SummerFest (Winconsin, USA)

The lineup is largely made up of African artists although they have also hosted huge international names like Lionel Richie and Rihanna.
Donauinselfest (Vienna, Austria)
